Position Summary:  Working closely with business leaders, the Director of Security and Loss Prevention will have overall responsibility for developing, managing and delivering solid operations and favorable performance across Asset Protection, Human Safety and Investigations throughout the organization.  This position will serve as a liaison between Sr Leadership and the branches providing advice, guidance and expertise on security systems and programs designed to protect assets and ensure safety of our employees. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Acts as the primary Security and Loss Prevention business partner for the organization
  • Provides front-line support to leadership and management in the administration of Security and Loss Prevention incident reduction programs
  • Performs branch visits and assessments on an as needed basis to ensure compliance to Security and Loss Prevention standards.
  • Conducts education where needed to reduce injuries and margin impact of shrink in the areas of: human safety and inventory management.
  • Works with outside agencies (federal, state and local law enforcement, etc.), as necessary
  • Conducts, initiates and responds to Loss Prevention investigations into potential loss or violations of Company policy
  • Conducts Shrink and Security compliance reviews and provides appropriate operational support/follow-up to ensure opportunities for improvement are identified and corrected
  • Provides recommendations and coordinates implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent execution of Security and Loss Prevention programs
  • Analyzes Security and Loss Prevention trends and acts based on findings with support of their Branch and Senior Leadership.
  • Acts as field liaison for all vendor-related initiatives and outside agencies related to Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Performs special projects at the direction of the applicable Branch and Senior Leadership
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in Security and/or Loss Prevention experience required. 
  • Leadership experience and experience overseeing multiple sites preferred.
  • Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or an appropriate field preferred.
