Job Description

Position Summary: As a junior inventory analyst, the incumbent would be responsible ordering, purchasing, and coordinating inventory. Responsible for ensuring an effective inventory control system is maintained and facilitates the product process flow. . Monitor  cost to help reduce and improve COG’s. Establishes par levels and adjust depending on need. Handles the management of safety stock and other duties as assigned.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Daily ordering
  • Establishing and maintain par levels
  • Manages safety stock.
  • Keeps a current list of backorders
  • Inventory control
  • Receiving purchase orders
  • Making sure counts are accurate
  • Checking for expired medications
  • Quarterly inventory
  • Knowledge of supply chain required
  • Detail oriented
  • Inventory and supply chain principles

Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
